Meet The Iboga Providers
Years of Experience & Quality Care
We’re Steven and Rupi. Our path with Iboga has been shaped by years of learning, initiation, and deep commitment. Trained in the Bwiti tradition under Moughenda Mikala, we came to understand healing and responsibility in a new way.
Since then, we’ve supported over 3,000 guests, each one teaching us how to hold space with more honesty, presence, and care.

Steven Moubengui
Lead Provider
I’ve spent my life seeking - first learning from Native American & Guatemalan elders to listen to the earth, the ancestors & the wisdom within. Iboga then became my deepest teacher, leading me to a full Bwiti initiation in Africa & years of apprenticeship as a lead provider. Today, with gratitude, I carry this medicine with integrity & guide people back to themselves with clarity & compassion.

Rupi Moussanza
Iboga Provider
Iboga saved my life. At 45, I reached my lowest point & in my first ceremony I finally met myself. It showed me the roots of my pain & helped me release decades of anger & confusion. From there, I rebuilt my life in truth. Today, I guide others with honesty, warmth, and grounded presence, creating a safe space to see themselves clearly & step into freedom.

How Iboga may support healing
Iboga is used by many people as part of a broader process of healing and self-discovery. Participants often come to Iboga with experiences related to trauma, emotional distress, depression, anxiety, or deeply ingrained behavioral patterns.
Many report meaningful shifts in how they relate to their past experiences, emotions, and thought patterns.
While outcomes vary for each individual, reported benefits include:
-
Processing past trauma and emotional experiences
-
Reduction in symptoms associated with anxiety and depression
-
Greater emotional clarity and stability
-
A shift in long-standing behavioral and thought patterns
-
Increased sense of meaning, connection, and purpose
Iboga is not presented as a cure or medical treatment, but as a traditional plant medicine that may support deep psychological and emotional exploration within a structured ceremonial setting.

How It Works:
What is Iboga?
Healing the mind, body & soul
Iboga is a sacred plant medicine from Gabon, Central Africa, traditionally used within the Bwiti tradition for self-discovery, healing, spiritual growth, and personal transformation.
Unlike many plant medicines, Iboga is known for its ability to bring deep insight, clarity, and self-reflection, helping people better understand themselves and their lives.
For generations, the Bwiti people have worked with Iboga through ceremony, music, dance, and spiritual teachings.

What is Bwiti
Bwiti is a traditional spiritual path originating in Gabon and is often described as "The Study of Life."
Through ceremony, music, dance, storytelling, and the sacred plant Iboga, Bwiti teaches self-knowledge, connection to nature, personal responsibility, and living in harmony with life.
Our work is deeply inspired by the Missoko Bwiti tradition and the teachings passed down through our teachers and initiations in Gabon.
