Balance of the Masculine and Feminine

An iboga ceremony is a time to rebalance yourself on the deepest levels; from your thoughts, to your hormones, to your PH, iboga balances and stabilizes our mind, body, and soul.

     The balance of masculine and feminine within ourselves is often a deep river, full of the wisdom and wounds our Mothers and Fathers imparted to us. A current of conditioning, love, generational pain, generational triumph, and everything in between. Many mental illnesses including; depression, anxiety, ptsd, bi-polar disorder, cptsd, dissociation, and depersonalization, come from experiencing a toxic or traumatic envirnment with one of our primary caregivers. These imprints form our actual neurons and inform us about how to form habits that keep us safe in our environment.

     The container in which we revisit these makings of ourselves, often rooted in our earliest childhood memories, should be intentionally held with the goal of re-imprinting us with a new and balanced way of living.

     Having both a Male and Female provider present during the entirety of your ceremony and retreat, allows you to call on the energy, perspective, and guidance of both the Mother and Father. In some moments we may seek the nurturing, rooted, feminine presence; and in others we need the firm, courageous, and wise masculine energy.

     For women healing from sexual trauma, to have a safe male present during the week can repattern the soul’s relationship with masculinity. For men who have a severed mother relations or difficulties with women, leaning into the feminine support can offer perspective into these situations.

     We are honored to have our two amazing, extremely experienced, initiated Bwiti Iboga Providers Rupi Moussanza and Steven Moubengui present throughout your experience, available as needed to offer their support. Often guests will resonate with one provider, which is an amazing opportunity to form a deep bond of trust throughout the week. However having access to both of these all star healers adds tremendous value to the ceremony, and we continue to see the benefits of this method at each retreat.
